It is true there is still a long way to go. But Old Havana's center today is quite nice, cafés are restores, many many buildings as well.. You can now walk in the old colonial city within a restored environment. many things to see and great architecture in good state. Aside from Jamaica, Cuba and the rest, there's also Bermuda, Cayman islands and Puerto Rico. As for me, all these islands offer the best of Caribbean (packaged trips are the best!).
